The Old Fish House Bar and Grill
The Old Fish House Bar & Grill sits right on the Indian River Lagoon in Grant-Valkaria and carries on a legacy tied to the local fishing industry that’s more than a century old. The site began as Jorgensen’s Fish House in the early 1900s, later became Hudgins Fish Company in the 1930s, and served as an active fish processing location where fishermen and their families lived and worked. Over the years, artifacts from that era have been preserved and are on display in the restaurant as reminders of its heritage. Today, the historic fish house building houses a popular waterfront bar and grill known for fresh seafood, classic American fare, handcrafted drinks, and a relaxed “Old Florida” atmosphere where guests can dine dockside while taking in beautiful river views.
